OutThink Talkback™ enables security teams to respond to user questions and comments through nudging infrastructure, a world first
NEW YORK, NY – November 7, 2024 – OutThink, the world leader in Cybersecurity Human Risk Management, today announced the implementation of the OutThink Talkback™ product, enabling security teams to interact with their IT users in a two-way conversation about any concerns or points of friction with security controls. A first of its kind, this capability continues to extend OutThink’s considerable lead in driving engagement with security teams throughout all security awareness and controls interactions.
This product is possible because of the model on which OutThink was designed from the outset. All user interactions managed by OutThink are two-way conversations from the start. OutThink does not even serve the first module of training in a regular awareness campaign without initially orienting the system to the user’s context. Human Risk Intelligence is native to all the modules, enabling the platform to learn from the user, collect feedback and accrue the human risk score at every step of the way. Up until now, that learning about the user resulted in the adaptive SAT engine serving up hyper-tailored content to each individual user.
OutThink Talkback™ takes it even a step further by enabling the security team to respond directly, furthering their dialog with users at large beyond tailoring learning experiences. A question from a learner can trigger an alert for the OutThink admin, with an interface by which they can reply to the learner through the Eva virtual cyber AI agent. Eva is used for delivering nudges through Teams or Slack directly to the user. It can now also deliver responses to comments, as quickly as the security team is able to provide them.
“OutThink was built with the vision of finding every way possible for Security to engage with the user base and involve them in the huge challenge of securing the organization,” said Flavius Plesu, Founder & CEO of OutThink. “This is a new tool for Security to further their dialog with users that are trying to engage with their training. The more we can do to remove barriers between Security and the rest of the organization, the more effective we’ll be at building security into every part of the business.”
